We prioritize relevant government guidance, building-science resources, original research and manufacturer instructions. Articles link their principal references and distinguish sourced guidance from our editorial observation sequences. A reference supports the relevant principle; it does not endorse this website or every part of an article.
Building codes and appliance instructions are location- and model-specific. Readers should confirm requirements with their local authority or an appropriately qualified professional. We do not diagnose mold, establish medical safety or certify building assemblies.
Authorship and AI assistance
“Dry Home Logic” identifies the website’s publishing identity, not a named inspector or a claim of a staffed expert panel. AI assists with drafting, research organization, illustrations and development. Our checks include reference alignment, internal consistency and calculator tests; these are not a substitute for independent professional review. We do not label articles “expert reviewed” or “human reviewed” unless that review has actually been completed and documented.
Images and examples
Generated images are labelled as editorial illustrations. They are not photographs of properties we inspected, equipment we tested or customers we served. They must not be used as construction drawings. Tables and diagrams explain the accompanying text and its limitations. Worked examples are hypothetical unless expressly identified otherwise.
Calculators
Tools state their method, units, assumptions and limitations. Dew point uses an approximation; capacity uses a published comparison table; electricity cost assumes the power and runtime entered. None of these is a measurement of your building. We correct errors when identified and do not imply that a test suite guarantees every possible input or physical outcome.
